How To Remove Malware??

Before starting this post, make sure you read previous parts of this post "What is  computer virus ?? – Detailed analysis" and "Computer Viruses - Detailed Information in 2019.".So, that you can get full knowledge about computer viruses and also know whether your computer is infected by a virus or not.

Now, as you know, full information about computer viruses. So, we can proceed with our next post, "How To Remove Malware??". In the previous post, I have told you that viruses and malware are not the same things instead virus is a sub-category that comes under Malware. This fact confirms that the procedure for the removal of viruses and Malware are almost the same.

These are the standard steps  for  " How to remove malware from pc."

Step 1: Enter in Safe Mode 

If you find your Pc is infected with a virus the very first thing you need to do is disconnect it from the Internet.
Once you disconnect it from the internet, you have to enter in safe mode. For entering in safe mode turn off your pc and then on it and as soon you will see anything on screen press F8 repeatedly.

This will give you advance boot options where you can see "safe mode with networking " option click on it.

Now, you have entered in safe mode of your pc. If you find your pc working faster in safe mode then either your pc might be infected with the virus, or this can also be a sign that various file started automatically when you turn on your computer. This is the simplest way to solve the problem " how to detect the virus in computer."

Step 2: Delete Temporary Files

Now, that if you have detected a virus and enter in safe mode, you might be in a hurry to run a virus scan.

But do you know running a virus scan without deleting any temporary file will take a very long time and maybe there are chances that there will be some viruses left in your pc even after completing of the scan.

So, to avoid these problems, it is necessary to remove temporary files from your pc that you don't need. Besides, there may be chances that some viruses will delete along with the temporary file making it easier for Anti-virus to remove viruses.

Step 3: Download a Virus Scanner 

As I have also told you in previous posts, no Anti-Virus in this world can detect every variant of the virus. So you must be familiar with little knowledge of Anti-virus that I have provided below.

There are two types of Anti-virus. 

Real-Time Antivirus programs :

These Antivirus program once installed in your computer can run in the background all time and detect malware at there entry. 

But if your computer is infected with malware then, obviously your antivirus is unable to detect this malware, and you need a new one.

On-demand Antivirus programs 

These anti-virus programs checked for the virus in your pc manually i.e. when you run this software.

But these anti-viruses are also not able to detect every variant of malware. So, you should install at least 3-4 anti-virus in your computer in case of Emergency.

Step 4: Run a Scan 

Now, you should connect your pc with internet.So that you can install various anti-virus programs on your computer like bit-defender antivirus  Norton antivirus, Kaspersky antivirus, etc.

If you already have anti-virus on your computer, you can run a quick anti-virus check on your computer. Do this quick scan with at least 2-3 antivirus to be sure that no virus left in your pc.

Step 5: Update your defense system 

Now, to be sure that any virus do not attack you com[uter again you need to some things quickly.

Run a full virus scan. This may take a long time, but it will scan every file of your computer remove any sign of virus from it.
Update your anti-virus and  Operating system as soon as possible .
Also, check whether there is an update of BIOS or not if there is any update of BIOS update it immediately.
Backup your necessary data regularly.
Improve your computer defense in any way possible.

Note: These are the standard steps which you should follow for " removal of malware " on the Windows operating system. These will not work on any other operating system like MAC os and  Linux.
