What is Artificial Intelligence??

 John McCarthy  uses the term Artificial Intelligence for the first time in 1956 on demonstration of first running AI program which in simple words means "Artificial Intelligence is a area of technology in which we develop computers and machines  to such an extent that they can do the task  that normally requires human intelligence such as speech-recognition,emotions,decision making etc".In this way with the help of Artificial Intelligence we can almost do all the work of humans with the help of machines only .This can be achieve by simply studying human brains while he do day to day activities like solving a problem,playing and doing dance practices.

            Artificial Intelligence is becoming the next big  thing in the field of technology due to its                      extensive uses in various fields some of which are given below :

• Automobile Industry

         when we talk of applications of AI technology then automobile industry tops due to                              following reasons-

1. Uber has been working on self-driven cars with the help of AI Technology.Uber has already tested a batch of self driven cars in 2016
2. Tesla introduced Tesla bot which is an  smart virtual assistant based on AI technology that allow users to interact with cars from there phone itself .
3. Nvidia has also partnered with Volkswagen to develop intelligent "co-pilot systems"that can do facial recognition,gesture controls and many other things .

• Entertainment

          Giant entertainment companies like Netflix and Amazon are using AI algorithms to keep track           of user's activity and thus, determine which shows to put on user's recommended section.A                 good example of this can be seen in you tube .

• Healthcare 

           AI is found to be most helpful in health industry as it can analyse big data very quickly as                  compares to a human being. time 

1. NuMedii which is a  bio pharma company develops a platform called AIDD(artifical intelligence for drug recovery) which uses AI technology to detect the links between diseases and drugs.
2. GNS Healthcare also uses AI technology to matches patients with the most effective treatments given.

• Finance

1. Chatbots which are driven by AI technology can serve the customers much faster as compares to bank old technologies and can efficiently  give answers to customers queries 
2. Fintech companies like kensho are using AI powered robo advisors for better profits and re balancing augments
3. One of the major role of AI in finance department is Fraud Detection for ex Mastercard  uses decision analyze technology to detect various frauds transactions.

• Manufacturing

1. AI tools can change the marketing strategy by keep tracking of change in geographies,locations,time and market needs.
2. Many companies has created an MACHINE-vision tool based on AI technology that can find defect on microscopic level in products like circuit boards.

        

          
        Now,as every coin has two faces there are also some scary face of          Artificial Intelligence

• The race for achieving AI arms will cause world war III

           Vladmir putin (Russian President) tweet "country winning in Artificial Intelligence ,will be                  the  ruler of the world".On this tweet Elon Musk (founder of Tesla and multiple companies)                 commented "competition for AI among top countries will create world war III".

• Artificial intelligence is risk to humans

             Elon Musk post a picture on his tweet on which was written very scary words"Machines                     will  end  humans".

              In simple word Elon musk shows risks in using Artificial Intelligence by his tweets, Jack ma                (founder of Ali baba)also predicted  that artificial intelligence is a threat to humans and will                make them weak instead of empowering them .He also predicted that by 2030 ,800 million                  jobs would be replaced by  Artificial Intelligence .

             While according to Mark Zuckerberg (founder of Facebook)  artificial Intelligence is not                      threat but a growing opportunity  of future.Mark Zuckerburg clearly says that" I have                           pretty  strong opinions on this and I am optimistic".He further added " In the next 5 to                   10 years AI   is  going to deliver so many improvements in quality of our lives".
