For Example phishing(in this hackers send you malicious emails and that email lead you to fake websites asking you to update your personal information.
Check link locations :
Nowadays,many unkown messages contain link to many unkown sites surfing a mysterious websites can lead to bad consequences
For Example those website can be similar to your known websites and thus you fall for phising scam.
Don't open attachments (unless you are really sure) :
A good rule to follow is never open a attachments unless you are 200% sure where they are came from. In a recent survey it is found that about 49% hackers used microsoft extensions for hacking it is one of easiest ways for hackers to download malicious code into victims computers.
Use two factor authentification :
As bigger companies get hacked most, likely your password will also once hackers get your password they try to figure your data.so, better to keep two factor authentification.
On public wi-fi! Don't share personal data :
Are you really thinking about checking your bank accounts while sitting in a public coffee shop?think again as you don't have any idea how secure that connection is security researchers just uncovered a vulneralibility that made wi-fi traffic at some world's biggest hotels vulnerable to attack.
